HER NAME WAS …

She began so soft

A whisper against my cheek

A murmur in my ear

She sighed so gently

Her allure intoxicated …

The blue slowly faded

To a daunting shade of grey

The air moving round me

Felt somehow heavy

On my shoulders …

Her desire was evident

And her attraction strong

I was drawn ever closer

To the mystery of her core …

I surrendered to her pull

Her will triumphant over mine

I bowed to her strength

And allowed her to draw me in …

And I floated on the wave

Of her dominance, her domain

I bowed my head, my body

To her demanding presence …

And so I was torn

From all that I knew

Into her eye, her centre

To find ethereal peace …

And suddenly exhaled

Just another breath

Her triumph consuming

Her name was …
